About Data element definitions

The Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) provides a national framework for the consistent collection and dissemination of vocational education and training (VET) information throughout Australia.

The AVETMISS Data element definitions apply to the VET provider and Apprentice and trainee collections and describe a set of data elements including definitions, context, rules, classification schemes and format attributes used in these collections.

Edition 2 replaced Edition 1 from July 2008.
