NCVER, on behalf of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, invites interested researchers to submit proposals under the Longitudinal Surveys of Australian Youth (LSAY) Analysis Grants Program for funding in an open category.
This open category offers researchers the opportunity to put forward proposals for research that will draw primarily on LSAY data, using its longitudinal nature, to inform policy on youth transitions.

NCVER is consulting with stakeholders on research priorities for the Longitudinal Surveys of Australian Youth (LSAY) research program from 2008 to 2010. Written submissions are now being invited. A discussion paper is available from the link below and responses should be submitted before 3 October 2008.
NCVER is on the road with Research Bites, a series of research presentations in all capitals. Jointly hosted with state and territory VET agencies, the events present recent research for practitioners, managers and policy makers from the private and public VET sectors. Topics on offer encompass issues from the cost of apprenticships to occupational destinations of VET graduates. Stay tuned for news of presentation dates.
