The Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) for VET providers is currently being reviewed by NCVER. This discussion paper is the first step in the review. It provides a framework for feedback and identifies key issues for consideration. NCVER is seeking input from users about information gaps that need addressing, as well as specific comments on existing items. A feedback form has been provided for this purpose. This feedback will be consolidated and provided to the National Training Statistics Committee for their consideration. 

Please refer to the supporting documents tab for access to submissions that were sent to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) as part of the public consultation on the review of the statistical standard for the National VET Provider Collection. These submissions were provided in response to NCVER's AVETMISS review discussion paper and are published with the consent of the author or organisation they represent. NCVER has not edited these responses and the views and opinions expressed in each submission are those of the author or organisation and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Australian Government, state and territory governments or NCVER.
