Templates and essential forms for researchers
When submitting documents to NCVER, it is essential that all reports, papers and support documents are submitted in NCVER templates. Researchers are also required to submit checklists with all progress, draft and final reports.
Specific outputs you are required to produce will be identified in your services agreement with NCVER. Please note that, while NCVER will check and approve papers for publication, unlike research reports, they will not normally be peer reviewed or undergo substantial editing by NCVER (depending on the nature of the paper), so please ensure you have edited your work carefully.
Publication template
This template applies to all research reports (standard report and monograph series) and papers (occasional, working and discussion papers). Reports must be submitted in the publication template. Please use this template as soon as you begin to compose your report. Please refer to the NCVER author's guide for guidelines regarding the report structure.
Support document template
Reports that have support documentation must submit in the support document template. These support documents might include:
- an extended literature review
- full case study reports
- a full description of the methodology
- a full description and analysis of the findings, including data tables or graphs
- highly detailed or technical information
These will be published on the web as support documents. NCVER will not edit these documents - it will be the responsibility of the researchers to produce these in final format. Please refer to the NCVER author's guide for more information on support documents.
Checklists
When submitting a report to NCVER , it should be accompanied by the checklist.
NCVER checklists assist you in ensuring that NCVER receives the correct deliverables at each stage of the project.
Checklists should be completed electronically and emailed with your report.
