Product description
VOCSTATS is a SuperWEB product which allows users to construct their own tables via an interactive web interface, using databases containing data from various NCVER collections. The data selected are loaded as a SuperWEB table allowing the user to manipulate the table to customise it for their own use. Tables can then be printed or exported in a variety of formats.
A quick reference guide and a tutorial are available are both available from the "Help" menu once logged in to assist users in creating and manipulating data tables.
Target audience
NCVER offers a range of products for users to access VET statistics. These products are designed to service individual's differing data needs and varying levels of experience with VET data. For information on NCVER's Information resources, please see our guide to NCVER's information resources
VOCSTATS is specifically targeted at those users who have a requirement for highly tailored outputs, have a good understanding of the intricacies and limitations of the NCVER collections, and are wiling to design and generate their statistical outputs directly using SuperWeb. Access to VOCSTATS is by application and all registered users must acknowledge the conditions associated with the application's use. This includes details of how data from VOCSTATS should be referenced and a statement in all publications that the information obtained from VOCSTATS has been extracted by the author and they take responsibility that the information extracted is appropriate for its intended use.

Scope of the data
The data are presented in databases under the following headings:
- Apprentices and trainees
- Students and courses
- Student outcomes
These databases are based on the NCVER collections; Apprentice and Trainee Collection, VET Provider Collection, Student Outcome Survey. For detailed information on each of the above collections, click on the links below:
For apprentices and trainees, a separate database for the last quarter is provided. For students and courses, separate databases for each of the last five years and a time series are provided. For student outcomes, separate databases for each of the last three years and a corresponding time series are provided.
