About Statistical standard (AVETMISS)
The Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) provides a national framework for the consistent collection and dissemination of vocational education and training (VET) information throughout Australia.
AVETMISS applies to the VET provider collection which provides information on publicly funded training programs delivered by government funded and privately operated training providers. Results of this collection are reported in Students and Courses publications.
Two releases of the AVETMISS VET Provider Collection specifications are below. Release 6.0 applies until the end of 2011 and will be replaced by Release 6.1 in January 2012.
