Purpose

The aim of the seminar is to contribute to the sustainable development debate by bringing together key representatives from developing countries to share their ideas and experiences, to learn new ideas and to disseminate and implement the results of the seminar in the developing countries they represent. It should also result in an enhancement of their capacity in the area of TVET.

Approach

Seminar, paper proceedings

Research questions

A key outcome of the seminar for the nominated participants will be the contribution to their own developing countries' sustainable development through the implementation of new ideas about TVET.

Methodology

The project involves participating in an Experts Meeting (in Vietnam) jointly hosted between the NCVER, RMIT University (Australia), UNEVOC (Germany) and the Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (Philippines) with support from various governments and NGO's including AusAID.

The main outcome will be a jointly published volume of the papers with a summary overview chapter.

Organisations

This project has been funded under the NCVER Core-funded program.
