This important publication describes vocational education and training systems in the 10 member countries of the South-East Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO) and provides an interesting comparison by also looking at Australia's VET system. The SEAMEO member countries are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam. Each chapter provides a brief overview of the country, followed by a description of the TVET system and the major organisations involved. Chapter 12 - Discussion and analysis - is available as a PDF file.
