This classification is made available in electronic format to assist those organisations providing data compliant with AVETMISS. The ANZSIC (Industry) classification is used to classify the industry or principal activity in which the employer is engaged. This classification is based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian and New Zealand Standard Industry Classification (ANZSIC), 1993 Edition (ABS Catalogue No. 1292.0) for R5.0 and 2006 Edition (ABS Catalogue No. 1292.0) for R6.0.
