This At a glance presents data on TAFE graduates and university bachelor graduates aged 15-24 years, collected from the 2001 Student Outcomes Survey and the 2001 (Higher Education) Graduate Destination Survey. It provides a profile of these graduates, as well as outcomes such as employment, earnings, occupation, qualification, further study and overall satisfaction. It concludes that the employment outcomes for TAFE and university graduates are both very positive, albeit in different areas of the labour market, with TAFE providing for a wider range of occupations than university.
