Australia’s major VET student survey expands

 

This year, for the first time, Australia’s major survey of students for rating the nation’s vocational education and training (VET) system has expanded to include students who pay their own way with private training providers. Over the coming weeks around 220 000 students will be asked about their recent training experience.

New VOCEDplus Pods released

Career development and Technology Pods are now available. These free online resources allow instant access to research and a multitude of information in a convenient and efficient platform.

 

 

Apprentice and trainee numbers continue to decline

The latest release of apprentice and trainee data show there were 295 300 in apprenticeships or traineeships as at 30 September 2015, a decrease of 13.7% compared with the same time in 2014.
