This product presents the tables from the publication Employers' use and views 2015 in Excel format. 95% confidence intervals are also presented. The figures in this publication are derived from the Survey of employers' use and views of the VET System. The survey was conducted by telephone interview between February and May 2015 and the results relate to employers’ training experiences in the 12 months preceding their interview.
The findings relate to the various ways in which Australian employers use the VET system and unaccredited training to meet their skill needs and their satisfaction with these methods of training. The product also looks at whether employers view their staff as fully proficient at their jobs and the impact this may have on the organisation and whether the organisation had experienced any recruitment difficulties in the last 12 months.
Key findings are presented for 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. For all other tables, comparative data for 2013 and 2015 are presented where possible. For additional data tables on employers’ use and views of the VET system, including data from the 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 surveys, please refer to the Employers' use and views of the VET system 2015 publication. These tables include information on each type of training by state, industry and employer size, as well as 95% confidence intervals.
