Expressions of interest for research projects
Under new arrangements from 2017, national research priorities and projects undertaken or commissioned by NCVER are determined through the Skills Senior Officials Network (SSON) Research Working Group (RWG). Members of the RWG include nominees from the Commonwealth Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business and each jurisdiction, an Australian Industry and Skills Committee nominee, and NCVER.
NCVER may periodically call for expressions of interest, or seek collaborative partners, to undertake research projects which will be considered by the RWG, with NCVER as the contract manager.
These will be advertised on the NCVER Portal (under the Funding opportunities page) and notifications sent via NCVER News. To subscribe to NCVER News https://www.ncver.edu.au/subscription
NCVER will provide a guide to submitting expressions of interest when a call is announced.
Key research stakeholders in higher education institutions, vocational education institutions, consultants and industry may be invited to submit, and partnerships or collaboration between researchers, government, education peak bodies, industry and end-users are encouraged. Contributions in the form of funding and/or in-kind to a project will be considered highly.
