34th National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Research Conference ‘No Frills’

9 - 11 July 2025

The 34th National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Research Conference ‘No Frills’ will be co-hosted with TAFE Queensland at the Robina Events Centre on the Gold Coast from Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 July 2025.

Known as a well-established annual national conference and a key part of NCVER’s engagement with the VET sector, 'No Frills' provides an opportunity to showcase research to VET practitioners and build the capacity of researchers. It provides participants with a forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge, as well as a chance to be a part of an event that encourages thought-provoking presentations and networking opportunities in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The conference also provides valuable professional development opportunities to enhance capacity and capability in the VET sector by incorporating activities on data and research analytics, as well as research practice.

The 2025 conference program will focus on the theme Diverse Voices in VET.
