About Validation software
The AVETMISS Validation Software is a file validation and data submission system designed for agencies to provide data to the NCVER as part of the national data collection.
Software versions
The national VET Provider Collection on training activities is currently going through a transition period between two data standards. The AVETMIS Standard R6.0 applies to activity undertaken up until the end of 2011 and the AVETMISS Standard R6.1 for activity from the beginning of 2012. Consequently, two versions of the validation software are necessary—one to validate against the AVETMIS Standard R6.0 and the other to validate against R6.1. Both versions of the validation software will remain available until all data collections for the 2011 calendar year are completed in 2012.
