Sample AVETMISS (NAT) files
Training and client data needs to be collated into national data collection files (NAT files). NAT files are text files (.txt format) which contain your training activity and client data and are submitted to the National VET Provider Collection either directly to NCVER or via your State/Territory Training Authority (STA).
RTOs that use an AVETMISS compliant student management system or NCVER’s free AVETMISS Data Entry Tool export their client and training activity data in an AVETMISS compliant NAT file format (.txt file format).
