Description

Data to monitor key performance and program measures for vocational education and training (VET) among school-aged youth in Australia is found in this report. These measures were developed in 2009 by the then Performance Measurement and Reporting Taskforce, at the request of the then Ministerial Council for Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs. They include the number and proportion of 15 to 19-year-old students who have successfully completed at least one unit of a competency/module as part of VET qualifications at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) certificate II or above, as well as the number of 15 to 19-year-old students who have completed a VET qualification.
