This research surveyed senior and middle managers in 15 TAFE institutes to determine their understanding of the human resource issues and the implications associated with the use of flexible delivery. Professional development, workload, job design and performance management, and workforce planning are identified as three critical human resource issues.
This report looks at what helps organisations develop their capability in online learning and what helps them develop a strategic approach to offering and supporting online learning. A multi-stage qualitative process was used to gather data from students, teachers, developers and stakeholders engaged in online learning in four providers drawn from regional areas in three states.
