This research reports on how Australian employers with businesses have been affected by the pandemic and their future workforce training plans.
This report provides estimates of the size and nature of the Australian vocational education and training workforce. Data was collected through the 2019 National VET Workforce survey from registered training organisations (RTOs). The report presents estimates of the number of individuals working in RTOs with a particular focus on trainers and assessors. Information was also collected about volunteers who play an important role in some RTOs.
Uses data from the Census and ABS Survey of Qualifications & Work to analyse trends in qualification levels within occupations from 2006-16 to show a general upward shift in qualifications held by workers.
This report examines the extent of unaccredited training in Australia and explores why employers use it, how satisfied they are with it, and the benefits they see in using it.
